We are looking to bring an end to the injustices of: Homelessness, Gentrification, Artificial Real Estate and Rent Price Inflation . Rent Gouging. Exploitation and extortion of the working class through the means of rent and mortgages. 

Resident’s Rights Movement for a Resident’s Bill of Rights. (R.B.O.R.)

The seriousness of income inequality is compounded by lack of access to affordable housing and the deepening housing crisis as well as a ballooning homelessness problem that has become pervasive and financially crippling for many in its effect.

Even though we have seen a measured decline in unemployment the growing number of homeless has included some 40% that are actually employed.

Indeed ,most working class Americans make under $35,000 per year, making those working people and families just two lost paychecks or a job layoff away from potential homelessness themselves.

This is not an issue of scarcity. It’s a matter of market manipulation ,commodification & artificial inflation.

The U.S actually has a surplus of vacant land, materials and housing.

There are six times more empty and vacant properties than there are homeless people in the U.S.

The unnecessarily inflated and gouging costs of residential and commercial real estate properties in addition to systematic , pervasive gentrification and price gouging have played an intrinsic role in the prevention of upward mobility by the working and working poor worldwide and in the U.S..

The Resident’s Rights Movement or the Resident’s Bill of Rights Movement

( R.B.O.R.) seeks to correct that injustice by implementing and pursuing these goals by legislation and redress of grievances to such ends as thus :

●National Rent Control

● National Real Estate Price Control

● Increased Rent & Housing Consumer Protections.

● Federal Land Grant & Loan Guarantee To All Non Estate Owners.

● Creation of Comprehensive Affordable Housing Surpluses

● Nationalization & Redistribution Of All Abandoned & Vacant Properties For Public Use & Occupation.

● New Federal Farm & Homesteading Act.

Rent and Real Estate Mortgage strikes might be just one of the measures we could use to affect that change.
